This project builds a future for those who have little by improving the living standards of disadvantaged families in the fishermen community of Kompong Khleang. The team in Cambodia will be made up of likeminded volunteers who are also passionate about travel and giving others a hand up. This crew will work alongside locals and our host partner. This projects falls under DWC’s Raise the Roof program. A DWC team will construct a structurally sound and weatherproofed floating home to improve the conditions in which families live. These measures will improve safety and health so that struggling parents and their children can better focus their energies on income-earning activities and education opportunities.
